The article Popular Anthropology Magazine has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- New magazine, just started this year. Cannot be notable yet, no independent references, no indication of notability. Article creation premature. Does not meet WP:GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crusio (talk) 21:16, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
Blocking me was both premature and unwarranted, as can be plainly seen by my other contributions on Wikipedia. In addition, I have made significant contributions to other pages that I did not create, specifically regarding the inclusion of numerous citations and style. Clearly, at the time of the deletion I was working on building that page. If I was a "spammer" or "advertiser," I wouldn't have bothered to fix and update other pages that I did not create- Examples: Smadar Lavie entry, Agustin Fuentes entry, Izumi Shimada entry, and etc. When I completed pages, I did not "abandon" them, but instead continued to work on them, improving their content. Please unblock me.
Decline reason:
Yes, but then you went on a tear where you created the article and then added links to the magazine to other articles in a fashion that can only be called spamming. Your name also raises some questions. Do you have any connection to this publication? — Daniel Case (talk) 03:59, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
