- I've reverted some of your edits, including a copy of the school's mission statement, as promotional and contrary to guidelines at WP:WPSCH/AG#WNTI. If you'd like to continue editing at Wikipedia I'd encourage you to read the site's guidelines, particularly those pertaining to school articles, WP:ADVERT, WP:COI and WP:SPA. I'm also concerned that you might have a connection to a recently blocked account. Thank you, 99.136.252.252 (talk) 15:31, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. 99.136.252.252 (talk) 18:42, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'm beginning to grasp why the school's better known for athletics.... I'm going to request page protection of the article, and see if an admin will look into the possibility of WP:SOCKing. 99.136.252.252 (talk) 18:42, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
I'm not sure why providing historical information of the school (St. Mary, St. Vincent, and then the merge to St. Vincent-St. Mary) is considered trying to promote the school? The current information on the page is very incomplete. ?UNIQb051e900ea0e91d0-nowiki-0000001C-QINU?1?UNIQb051e900ea0e91d0-nowiki-0000001D-QINU? Anthonyqb2 (talk) 12:58, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If you honestly do not see what you wrote as promotional, then you are so blind to the nature of what you are writing that you are unlikely ever to be able to edit in the objective, neutral way that is required for Wikipedia. Your editing was a blatant attempt to turn the article into a school prospectus. It even contained such unadulterated marketing prose as "The curriculum provides a strong academic and religious foundation that prepares students for college and beyond", "The STVM Alumni Office is proud to be the archive location for many of the memories, photographs and treasured scrapbooks of St. Mary High School", "In the spirit of the Gospel, we are committed to educate the whole person, to lead and to serve: enlightening the mind, developing the body, touching the heart and inspiring the soul", and much more in the same vein. I am new to Wikipedia and don't fully understand all of the guidelines in editing pages - I am trying to read and gain a better understanding on what is appropriate on here and what is not. I understand now that school/entity mission statements are not appropriate/unbiased because the essence of their statement are promotional and can be argued against. If I were to add the history of the three schools, how would one go about doing it legally under Wikipedia's guidelines? Thanks for anyone's help on this matter.
