Do not remove copyright tags from articles you have uploaded unless you have provided full source information (including the copyright holder, the creator (if not the copyright holder), the source URL for the image, any modifications that have been made to it). - The information I have provided on the image page is valid and correct. Ansett 10:24, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- As has been pointed out to you several times, the information you have provided is not sufficient for us to verify the copyright status of the image. Please correct this. Chris cheese whine 10:35, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

- Please provide a link to the diff in which you have added precise source information. When I look, it still only says paypal.com. Chris cheese whine 11:03, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Also, the image is over 700 pixels wide. Paypal's site conspicuously uses this, much smaller image. Its provenance aside, why is such a big image needed? -- Hoary 11:06, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Do not accuse other users in good standing of vandalism without good cause. This is considered uncivil. Chris cheese whine 10:25, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Third opinion
[edit]I have provided a third opinion on Image:PayPal.png at Image_talk:PayPal.png. I suggest that would be a better place for this discussion to continue.
Also, Ansett, adding relevant comments to your user talk page is not vandalism, and you should not be removing single comments in that way. Continuing to behave in this way will get you blocked. Grouse 11:25, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Please avoid using abusive edit summaries as per Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:No personal attacks. This includes referring to contributions of other users in good standing as "vandalism". Also, please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Chris cheese whine 11:34, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. Chris cheese whine 11:42, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

PayPal
[edit]Did you get the image by taking a screenshot of a zoomed Flash object on that page? That might be a good thing to explain as it is slightly unusual. If you can do so then I think it should be fine.
Also, could you please make more of an effort to fill in edit summaries? This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia, as it helps us understand what you are doing more easily. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Thanks! Grouse 12:53, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- My opinion is yes. Grouse 13:32, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Hoary
[edit]Hoary is not a nice person I see where he would not let the word AGNES using all caps and it in not the correct form to say Agnes The gallery was always AGNES and now thanks to hoary the gallery is incorrect for the first time in its brief history of 8 years opened 1992 closed 2000 Hoary is hoary now one has to look up Agnes (gallery) instead of the correct AGNES. Good luck though I know how hard it is working with a selfi-mposing person who has no regard for what is correct and what is just plain wrong and wrong headed. Sore hoary. sorry Ansett. Hoary is full of wrath.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Artsojourner (talk • contribs) 05:26, 13 December 2006 (UTC).
Domino's Pizza
[edit]What were you trying to do? I’ve gotten completely lost trying to follow all the redirects now. Did you simply add a disambiguation page? We really didn’t need one. There are only two Domino’s Pizza articles, and they can simply refer to one another with hatnotes. The disambiguation page simply points back to itself. Whatever you were trying to do, I hope you’re not finished yet, because it’s a mess right now.
When everything has settled down, both the main articles should have apostrophes. Whether they're curly or straight, I don’t care. --Rob Kennedy 05:42, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Shell Australia and Coles Express
[edit]Hi there. I've made some comments at Talk:Coles Express about the redirect from Shell Australia to Coles Express as I don't think it's appropriate in light of the large range of activities undertaken by Shell in Australia that have nothing to do with Coles Express. Do you agree? Murtoa 06:45, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Telstra_Dome_Logo.PNG)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Telstra_Dome_Logo.PNG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECU≈talk 22:52, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Image:Vanessa Amorosi.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Vanessa Amorosi.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rossrs 12:54, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Ted Airlines?
[edit]Hi, I wanted to ask for your view on renaming Ted Airlines back to Ted (airline). The service in question is really just Ted, and never Ted Airlines—not in UAL's financial reports; not in United's marketing campaigns; not by any gate agent, flight attendant, or captain I have ever experienced; and not even by the major newspapers in Ted markets or the New York Times. It does appear the title bar of the home page of flyted.com but that's SEO, not brand.choster 22:47, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
