My edits to matters south african
[edit]My edits will be primarily restricted to supporting the established content with details of books that should be listed. For instance, biographies on Koos de la Rey and Christiaan de Wet have been added. I may also do some grammar and punctuation amendments if really necessary, but it is not my intent to make wholescale revision of others work. I'll point things out if necessary though.
There seems to not be an established convention with regard to the supporting data at the end of the main article. I haven't discovered a wiki standard on this as yet, please point me if there is one.
Publications refers to books or articles written by the biographee.
References are citations to support statements written within the main body.
Biographies, as I have inserted, are books directly concerned with the life of the biographee whether in full from birth to death, in part, or autobiographies real or ghosted.
Other books concerning the biographee in part, or the events in which he thus gains a mention, should surely be listed under some other heading such as Recommended Reading.
