Wowww!
[edit]I literally have no words. Your draft on Joe Thompson was sooo detailed, backed up by so many reliable sources and well-written. It is easily in the top 0.00001% of all drafts submitted to Articles for Creation - in fact, I would encourage you to submit it for Good Article Review once you fix it up a bit more because it is THAT amazing. I would approve it and move it into articlespace, but I'm technically not allowed to yet (I'm applying to be an AfC member soon, wish me luck!)
You have clearly dedicated a lot of time into it and I'm just so amazed. Your show a remarkable understanding of our policies and guidelines for a new user. I've just spent the last hour fixing up the citations for you as you requested on IRC (Wikipedia formatting can get ANNOYING!), and if you need anything else PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out to me. Just again... wowwww! MolecularPilot 11:48, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! I just added a few more details and edits. Is it better to submit for review and then edit with more info or keep editing until it's more complete? Also how should I submit for the Good Article Review? Anonymous.politico (talk) 22:55, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- Wow, you've really improved it a lot more again since you asked for help on IRC. There's just some little things like needing references in the lead and formatting which I'll fix up soon, but genuinely it absolutely blows away the criteria for moving to articlespace right now, so you can feel free to submit it (you'll also be able to edit it while your submission is pending). Once it's in articlespace, I'm happy to help you further fix it up a bit and then we can work on a GAN. MolecularPilot 04:10, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Okay great! I'll go ahead and submit and keep working on it tonight. But yeah, I'm gonna try and add a lot of local Bay Area Politicians/Labor Leaders but I'm not sure what qualifies as "notable" or not. Anonymous.politico (talk) 04:28, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- That's great, it'd be amazing to see many new articles of the quality you make them at! Generally, what we mean with "notability", in regards to people, is documented at WP:BIO - basically if someone has "significant coverage" (defined at WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent and reliable secondary sources - they are notable - which is obviously met by Joe cause of all his Starbucks stuff.
