[edit]The answer is found at WP:ELNO, item 6. You and your colleagues (you say "we") have not been adding external links to essays. You have been adding links to abstracts that require people to purchase the publication to read the essay. That's a no-no. - Thank you Shawn for the quick response and clarification. I appreciate it. Ok, we will respect that rule and we are sorry for our action. I do not understand however why that rule is violated by other links created for commercial purposes. I do not want to name them, but there is some example in Takeshi Murata wikipedia page. I guess all are equal before these rules. Thank you Shawn.
