Alzheimer's disease is a high profile featured article. As such it is not a good place to learn your way around on Wikipedia. I'd suggest you experiment in your sandbox first, get acquainted with the above-linked policy and guidelines, then move on to cleanup of minor errors (typos, citations, etc) in some less-prominent articles. Those marked as Category:Stubs are usually easy to improve.
If, however, your interest only extends to history of dementia then I'd suggest you give some thought to drafting up a revised version in your sandbox and then getting feedback from more experienced editors on the article talkpage. Cheers, LeadSongDog come howl! 14:10, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
It would be good if you had a ref to support your recent edit. Our dementia article does not seem to notice him! Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:18, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
