A skąd ja teraz mogę to pamiętać? Z historii hasła wynika, że w momencie tworzenia go istniały 4 interwiki. Tylko w wersji niemieckiej był podany rok urodzenia, więc prawdopodobnie po prostu go przepisałem, biorąc za pewnik. Wtedy nie zwracało się tak uwagi na źródła, jak dziś. You edited the file information page with the edit summary "OTRS permission", but no OTRS template was added. Can you check? --Stefan2 (talk) 00:26, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Protection unwarranted for same-sex marriage map

[edit]

In my opinion there is no basis for restricting edits to this file. The state of marriage law in the U.S. is in constant flux, especially this week, and that is why so many changes are being made. There is no edit-warring going on. It's not as if people are vandalizing the map; they are making good-faith edits. I urge you to reconsider this protection. Nevada now has marriage equality and nobody is able to change the map because you blocked all changes. https://twitter.com/AFER/status/519934851483721730 https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/status/519933687119761408Tinmanic (talk) 19:49, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Cozzetti & Gemmill (January 13 & 14 edits)

[edit]

Ankry:

In regards to your decision to delete the 1024 pixel image of our photo at the Seattle Center (1982); I created that higher resolution image (using my HP scanner), because YOUR OTRS TEAM requested it. We have the emails from Mr. Quintin Williams (Guanaco), to confirm all this. Also, to scan from a 8" by 10" photograph requires the original print. This in, and of itself, is PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. I suggest you read Wikipedia's article; Possession is nine-tenths of the law.

I have been made aware of your discussions, in an archived file, pertaining to this matter. I find it interesting that nobody asked us about the way this picture was taken (by one of our fans at the Mural Amphitheater 36 years ago). To suggest that we need to find this individual now is completely ludicrous. I went to a lot of work to get you the better jpeg file and I don't appreciate being used. Bob (Cozzetti) is also very unhappy with the way we're been treated by Wikipedia.

I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

@TenorT: I do not handle English language queue OTRS tickets. And AFAIK, the problem is not the resolution, but the name of the photographer. Ankry (talk) 23:15, 27 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ankry:

I appreciate your reply. We have seen numerous pictures on Wikipedia, that say Photographer Unknown. So, why is it such a big deal that an unknown fan took our picture in 1982? There is no way to find this person and I wouldn't even want to try, after all these years. Aso, he was using OUR camera (the reason why we have the original prints, etc.), which is proof of ownership. It shouldn't be so difficult to upload a higher resolution scan to an existing file.

I look forward to any comments you might have. Thank you.
