EBay.in redirected / some tips

[edit]

Hello Ankit sewa17, I have redirected this page back to the former parent company (for now). Of course an article about this topic may be possible, if you can find enough independent reliable sources with in-depth coverage about Indian eBay. But the current version was entirely unsourced and included several wrong values from Jabong.com. On a sidenote, you should usually not copypaste content from one Wiki-article into another without attribution of the original article, and it's almost always better to phrase all content in your own words instead. As this seems to be one of your first Wikipedia articles, I suggest to follow the step by step guidance at WP:Your first article to create a draft version. Working on a draft, you'll have more time to find additional sources, fix formatting and prepare an encyclopedic sourced article. An experienced reviewer will look at the draft afterwards and offer additional advice if needed. GermanJoe (talk) 20:05, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Indian Gorkha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page INC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Unspecified source/license for File:Sunil Chhetri in 2017.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sunil Chhetri in 2017.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 10:46, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:India national football team.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:India national football team.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:38, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image use

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically India women's national football team, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:39, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The non-free use of File:India national football team.jpg has been previously discussed in Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 6#File:India FA.svg. Reuploading the essentially the same file as File:All India Football Federation 2016.png under a different name does not change the consensus reached in that discussion as others who have also tried to do the same thing have similarly found out. If you feel that the consensus reached in the above-mentioned FFD discussion should be reconsidered, then please follow the instructions given in WP:CLOSECHALLENGE and discuss your reasons with Explicit (the adminstrator who closed the FFD discussion). -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:51, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
