Hey :-)
I know this may be asking a lot out of both of us, but could we put our history behind us for the good of the site and atmosphere? After reading through the discussions I've had with you in the past (June-July), I can only say that I am astounded at how poorly I handled them; you were right in most of them. Best regards, —Animum (talk) 02:30, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I certainly didn't see this one coming. I'm sure I overstated my case on several occasions, as well, and I know I screwed up hosting the one image off-wiki. A truce seems pretty damn reasonable. Well-proposed! But all that happy stuff said, I still reserve the right to think that the header on your Talk page is fugly. ;) Jouster (whisper) 06:49, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough. —Animum (talk) 01:51, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll join in this too and am sorry if I helped to aggravate any aspect of the situation. Regards, Newyorkbrad (talk) 01:56, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Recent Vandalism
Hi, recently i tried reverting the vandalism that was done on the article Action. I had some problems reverting back to [1] because it says that there were too many intermediate edits. Can you please return the article back to its orginal form before the vandal vandalized it? Thanks! ^_^--DurzaTwinkTALK (talk) 03:03, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
hello
I am very fond of your talk page. May I ask how you edited it? Although I entirely understand you responsibilities as an administrator, I am unclear on why my page was deleted. Can you please elaborate? thank you for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by HellomynameisAmir (talk • contribs) 19:43, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

User:24.11.226.5
FYI: That same user was banned for a week last night for the same edit under the IP 24.11.226.178; I know that it is hard to use a banhammer on IPs, but like I said, that's just to let you know what's what with that person. --Mhking (talk) 22:57, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- By all means, request a rangeblock for 24.11.226.0/24 on AIV if, and only if, vandalism keeps coming from any IP that follows the 24.11.226.*** pattern. —Animum (talk) 23:00, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
von Neumann edits
My recent edits are not vandalism! I am a regular contributer to this page and I have left edit summaries to all my edits - if you were to take the time to look.24.148.1.17 (talk) 17:07, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Expand User:Animum/reset.js?
Hey Animum, is it possible to expand User:Animum/reset.js so that it can also reset other sandboxes (such as Wikipedia talk:Sandbox or Template:Sandbox)?--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions) 03:41, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- I guess so, but it would take a while to code, especially if it required making XML requests. —Animum (talk) 20:03, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh okay. Well if you can do it in your spare time that would be nice but otherwise just ignore this.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 20:10, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Gary Glitter
My edit to his article is not vandalism! He is a paedophile and I was contributing to the page because it does not say anywhere on it that he is one. Look at the things that he has done! He is a paedophile! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.141.1.204 (talk) 20:18, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Two Pints of Lager... and the "IP Vandal"
The BBC3 website here is incorrect. The titles in the list of episodes are sourced from the original broadcasts and the BBC DVDs, and I will tell the IP this. If necessary, I will insert "cite episode" templates as sources but I really have better things to do. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 23:13, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

I removed the image of the UN flag from this page, as it is used under a claim of fair use. I believe the matter is being debated over at Commons at the moment, but the UN site claims copyright and expressively forbids commercial use. J Milburn (talk) 23:36, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Changes in BASIC
Hi there ! Very often we get 'new' messages' regarding some changes made to BASIC. The changes were not made by us, and these messages have simply been coming so many times and for so long ! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.204.224.33 (talk) 15:27, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Song
Hi. Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this or if you're busy, but anyway, I parodied your song, Editin', for part of a project. I just thought you may or may not want to know about it. Yes, it's a parody of your parody of Weird Al's parody of Chamillionare's song, Ridin'. Anyway, here's the song:
- Welcome back ladies & gentlemen to B-O-O-K, the radio station to which anyone can read.
- They see me readin’
- Another book,
- I know they’re all thinkin’
- That I read it too much
- Do you think I read it too much?
- Do you think I read it too much?
- Think I read it too much?
- I want to use it to edit,
- But you all know what I read it too much
- I’m just reading it all day
- Look at me, I read it too much
- Read ‘bout everything from tornadoes to birds
- Found a couple of hefty errors
- I look at the images to see their sources
- Ev’ry book should have refs and resources
- Can use the book as a ref for ‘Kipedia,
- Got knowledge of what’s not if but when.
- Yo, I need that book’s ISBN.
- Everyone I know ain’t readin’ but books-a-booking
- How ‘bout someone’s trip to F***ing [sic]
- I write stuff about the info
- Everything except Mojo Jojo
- Once you read wha’ I’m readin’ you’ll be bored
- Like which minerals have been ored
- Or what’s an apochromatic refractor
- Yo look at that, this book’s number 1
- I read these books just for fun
- I ain’t got fat, but I’ve got a sesame bun
- The Atlas is my favorite nerd book
- I’ll beat you to memorising the longest word
- I’m also an amateur astronomer
- I’m fluent in astro-lingo as well as meteo-talk
- They see me readin’
- Another book,
- I know they’re all thinkin’
- That I read it too much
- Do you think I read it too much?
- Do you think I read it too much?
- Think I read it too much?
- I want to copy
- It right on here
- But I know that it would be stupid
- That it would be stupid
- That it would be stupid
- I’ve been readin’, inspectin’
- All these books you know I read them
- This and that, I must borrow them
- The library never leaves me bored
- While I’m reading I’m looking for info for wiki
- I READ BOOKS
- I can memorise long words really well
- I can ‘cite it right now, and have you any R-O-F-L-M-A-O-I-P-O-L
- 'Tis my business to read and cite
- When they need info on the eclipse, who do they call
- I do random searching for them all
- I even did some searchin’ for a noob, yo
- I borrowed another ten more books
- Going throughout the whole library
- Hope no one sees me
- Readin’ myself
- I read a lot of stuff
- I cite my sources
- I read atlases and wikis and even manuals
- The only time I thought it was hard
- Was when I kept seeing books that are too simple
- Spend every weekend readin’ somethin’
- And I even read in real-life
- They see me readin’
- Another book,
- Signin’ out a bunch
- 'Cuz I read it too much
- Do you think I read it too much?
- Do you think I read it too much?
- I wanna read with
- Your face
- But it all knows I read it too much
- That I read it too much
- That I read it too much
- <Gong!>
Well, that's all I had. What do you think? There might still be a few errors but I tried to fix them. To be fair I credited you with the original parody of the parody of a song, which I parodied. Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 01:23, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

My RfA
If you weren't male, underage, and in a different state—though, really, any one of those would suffice—I'd buy you a steak dinner. You just singlehandedly revived my faith in the RfA process. As it is, enjoy the yummy picture, and thanks. Jouster (whisper) 01:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
