Porn industry output
[edit]Since you requested a source: With pot and porn outstripping corn, America's black economy is flying high, The Guardian. Average porn feature production in the US: 11,000 titles per year, over 200 per week. That's exclusively feature production in the US, hence the comparison to feature prodcution in other categories. If you want to include TV in the comparison, you would need to expand the quantity of porn to include print media, online presence and interactive material (mostly Japanese H-games). Remember that Wikipedia probably wouldn't exist were it not for the porn industry. 81.111.114.131 (talk) 21:20, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Who said anything about banning it? You were the one who wanted to extend the comparison beyond a strict like-for-like basis. I put forward an equivalent comparison - adult features vs. other features. 81.111.114.131 (talk) 01:56, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
