Speedy deletion nomination of The Nearly Deads
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Nearly Deads requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sarahj2107 (talk) 18:53, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The Nearly Deads discography
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Nearly Deads discography requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Three Days Grace discography. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- WikHead (talk) 09:06, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Did you see this edit? I was going to tag you for genre warring on various Three Days Grace articles, but that edit summarizes your actions so I'll simply point it out to you. If you want, read the warning above about adding edit summaries. You may also want to read about consensus editing and overlinking guidelines. Hope you turn these lessons into constructive editing practices. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:52, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Life Starts Now, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:07, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Please read MOS:CAPS and do not make mistakes like this series again. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:37, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Life Starts Now, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:39, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:40, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to One-X does not have an edit summary. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Chalk Outline (Three Days Grace song), you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:02, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Chalk Outline (Three Days Grace song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You continue to genre war and you continue to edit without leaving any edit summary. The next series will find you reported to AN/I Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:31, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Chalk Outline (Three Days Grace song) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Toddst1 (talk) 18:25, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Kinu t/c 19:29, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Perhaps in your time off you could take the time to read the following essays to see why your actions are frowned-upon: Wikipedia:GENREWARRIOR, User:Backtable/Essays/Genre warring and genre warriors and User:Scarian/Genre trolls. The goal of this block is not to get you angry or prevent you from contributing to Wikipedia, rather, it's designed to help you reflect on what cooperative editing looks like and to try to focus your energy on constructive and cooperative behaviour. One final point of clarification, no one is saying that you're not adding correct material to the article, we are saying that discussion is the best way to make changes like the ones you're making. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:54, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Electric Machine (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
