License tagging for Image:Rich 8.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Rich 8.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Notability of Rich Apuzzo
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Rich Apuzzo, by Jdcooper (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Rich Apuzzo seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Rich Apuzzo, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 22:20, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Unintended distress caused by my editing efforts
[edit]After thinking about this for a while, I feel that I should acknowledge the probability that in my zeal for better articles, you at least feel that I've violated one of the basic principles of Wikipedia etiquette, which we often inelegantly phrase as "Don't bite the newbies!" The article I've discussed with you was not encyclopedic in tone, and I have encountered so many situations where "articles" on Wikipedia are really undisguised advertisements for the subject in question, often written by them or their hirelings, that I got a smidgen overzealous.
The article still needs work; but that's no criticism of you as a human being. We all start somewhere, and I certainly expect that most of the articles I've worked on, not least the ones I started, will "be edited mercilessly" (as it says on the bottom of every editing page) for as long as this project lasts. Peacefully yours, --Orange Mike 01:47, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- As far as recent edits to that article: it's probably a certain banned party, refusing to log in. Report the IP for vandalism using the usual procedures. --Orange Mike 02:47, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Rich Apuzzo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Rich Apuzzo and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 65.189.19.106 (talk) 06:41, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
It is interesting you can't login on your real usernname and no other contributions have been made by you, 65.189.19.106. You are clearly a sockpuppet, and a checkuser has been ordered to find out who you are. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.64.155.216 (talk) 23:23, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
