London garage codes
[edit]Hi there Andymacp and welcome to Wikipedia.
Thanks for your contribution on London bus garages. I have to let you know that all the section headers that you changed (by adding the garage code) have affected internal links in Wikipedia that link to each section with the # function as part of the link.
This kind of thing can upset a few people, so just a friendly warning from me in case others give you any hassle. I'm willing to help fix as it probably won't take that long as I have access to software that allows me to make automatic edits. I'll post something on the London Transport wikipedia project group to see if anyone can help us. You will probably be interested in joining that project group too.

Speedy deletion nomination of Stagecoach in lochaber
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Stagecoach in lochaber, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 14:18, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Stagecoach in Devon, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jeni (talk) 14:06, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Stagecoach in Huntingdonshire
[edit]A tag has been placed on Stagecoach in Huntingdonshire requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article Stagecoach Group local trading names has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- What is the notability of the local trading names of the Stagecaoch group?
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 14:21, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Stagecoach Group local trading names
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Stagecoach Group local trading names. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stagecoach Group local trading names. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:09, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
WTF
[edit]Why is Stagecoach in Inverness a redirect to the east? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.48.65.109 (talk) 16:04, 28 June 2011 (UTC) It was formally part of the East Scotland Division but now forms part of the Highland division when the operating license for the Inverness operations were transfered to the Highland Country Buses Limited license. the re-direct is because i do not know how to divert it to the Highland Division.
You have undertaken a lot of work on this article but I fear you do not realise the difference between a list of towns with no railway station and a list of closed railway stations. Your changes are beginning to make the article look like the latter and as such are liable to be reverted, wasting your effort. Sorry to be negative but I think that is what is going to happen. Edit summaries / 'Preview' button
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you.
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. –Signalhead < T > 14:36, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited History of rail transport in Great Britain 1995 to date, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Freightliner (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
