Thanks for your edits to this article. I and a couple others have been working on it since it was up for deletion. I'm actually going to try to get it to be a Featured Article eventually. I had to laugh about your statement about the word "traffickers", because I am always discussing the complexities of English with foreign friends. I spelled it "traffikers" because it was actually spelled that way in a journal I was using for the citation. Aguerriero (talk) 18:35, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]Hey, you posted something about the picture I put up of Juanes . . . I really have no idea what I'm supposed to do w/ it. Although I've been working on wikipedia for some time, I've not really taken the time to learn all about licences or anything. Basically it's a picture that I took at a free concert. Do you have any clue what that would fall under? If you do, please put that there, as I probably wont be using wikipedia in some time. If you can't, leave me another message and I'll get to it next time I log in. OH, I also thought it might be good to put up a picture that's not so big, but again, I've no clue how to do that. Sorry about all the trouble.. DavidMendoza 23:51, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Lost Yanky, I want to know in what your based your commentary about Cuban Spanish Language. From where you are originally? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Cuban_Spanish —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dalmaral (talk • contribs) 04:49, 5 November 2006.
Hey, I saw you commented on the talk page of the Ladino language. I've been trying to teach my self Ladino but I'm afraid I've only got a semi-complete picture from what's available on the web. How well do you know the language and how did you learn? Other than the songs linked in the artile, do you know a good sample of spoken modern Ladino, preferably with transcription? I'd be happy to receive any advice you have. Thanks, caz | speak 05:33, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Monterrey
[edit]Hello. I have to admitt I know nothing about phonology. I want to ask you if there are various systems of phonology, like one for english, for spanish, etc. In case there are various systems, I think we should use the one for english, because people reading this are suppoused to speak english. Well, you know what I mean. Yes, the "y" in the word "Monterrey" sounds like the "y" in "pretty", like a spanish "i". Thanks in advance for your answer. AlexCovarrubias ( Let's talk! ) 14:22, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hello again. I just read the article of IPA and it says the symbol you wrote " "ʝ " represents the sound of the english "j" not of the spanish "y". The "y" in Monterrey is pronunced "i". So the symbol that should be used is "i". AlexCovarrubias ( Let's talk! ) 14:32, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. I don't know what kind of spanish you are talking about, but the word "hierro" is pronounced "ierro" not "yerro". See you around. AlexCovarrubias ( Let's talk! ) 21:29, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Sorry for not responding. It may be possible that some information is from Vintage Mac World.com, and if it is, please cite it. It may be original research, which is fine. It would be nice if it had a logo. Thank you for helping one of my earliest articles be no longer a stub.TheListUpdater 19:34, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- As for sources, a lot of it was from googling their product names. Others were from other Wikipedia articles, such as Mac286. –Andyluciano 03:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Disraeli
[edit]The trouble is that there's no evidence that the D'Israelis ever hailed from Spain. Benjamin's paternal grandfather, also Benjamin, was born in Cento, then part of the Papal States, and emigrated to England in 1748. He married Sarah Shiprut de Gabay Villa Real, who was not, as the younger Benjamin wrongly believed, connected to the Villa Reals of Portugal. While Disraeli is definitely Sephardic, there's no direct Iberian connection, at least none that can be proved. Mackensen (talk) 16:54, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Andyluciano. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Andyluciano~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
