This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of ABI Compliance Checker, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://ispras.linuxfoundation.org/index.php/ABI_compliance_checker. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:43, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Copyright policy advisement regarding articles
[edit]Dear Andrey86, regarding your contribution to ABI Compliance Checker, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from web sites or printed material without the express permission of the author or copyright holder. This article appears to be a copy from this URL: http://ispras.linuxfoundation.org/index.php/ABI_compliance_checker As a copyright violation, the article has been deleted.
If you choose to recreate the article, please ensure that the material is written in your own words. If you believe that using sentences from the source is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike License 3.0 (CC-BY-SA), then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at the talk page of the new article and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the CC-By-SA or compatible license or released into the public domain leave a note at the talk page of the new article with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material, you may either send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-By-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on the talk page of the article, or place a note releasing the material as above at the external site. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:53, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
- API Sanity Autotest has been deleted for the same reason, as a copy of [1]. The history of the articles verifies that it was published there first. Unfortunately, not all Wikis are compatible, and there is no indication that the one in question is reusable under necessary terms. Unless license can be verified, we are not able to import their text. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:58, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Upstream Tracker.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Upstream Tracker.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

In response to your feedback
[edit]I happened to see your question, "how to insert toc to a page with 3 items?". The answer is to add the __FORCETOC__
keyword at the head of the page - that's described at Help:Section#Positioning the TOC, but the description is hidden inside a lot of other detail and is easy to miss. -- John of Reading (talk) 20:46, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Java API Compliance Checker
[edit]The article Java API Compliance Checker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:GNG. Unable to find any sources that establish notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Linux-Popularity-2020.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Linux-Popularity-2020.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}}
(to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 05:45, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
