Eric Freyfogle and WP:BLP

[edit]

Hello! I saw your recent contribution Eric Freyfogle. It looks great!... except that here at Wikipedia we are particularly careful about how living people are portrayed in the encyclopedia (since what is written about them here may affect them in real life). In practice, this means that citations are particularly important in biographies of living people. So please go back through Eric Freyfogle and add citations showing where you got the information there. All information in the article must be verifiable from outside sources. For more on Wikipedia policy regarding biograhies of living people, see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Also be aware that biographies of living people that lack any sources can be nominated for deletion through a special process called WP:BLPPROD. If that happens, you can stop the deletion process by removing the tag after adding sources to the article. If you have questions, feel free to ask here or at WP:TEAHOUSE. Cheers.
