[edit]

You're making some very disruptive changes to articles. The worst ones are changing sourced sales numbers for songs without updating the source or explaining what you're doing in an edit summary. In other articles, you are adding unsourced personal commentary. Almost every one of your edits has been reverted, mostly by me just now. I suggest you stop editing articles until you understand how Wikipedia works. After I post this, I will also post a Welcome message with links to policies and guidelines. If you have questions, you may ask them at the WP:Teahouse. To be clear, though, if you persist in making the kinds of edits you've been making to date, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 11:54, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I want to ask that, while albums get platinum certifications by the RIAA it means it sold over a number. So I updated Nicki's album to the criteria of the certification. I want to ask if it's wrong to do so. Andrewliu0220 (talk) 19:34, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To change the sales numbers, you must (1) cite a reliable source and (2) explain what you're doing in an edit summary. Everything in Wikipedia must be reliably sourced and cited.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:45, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've tried one more time by adding Nicki's pink friday US sales. Can you help me see if it's ok. Thank you Andrewliu0220 (talk) 19:53, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I cited the RIAA website. Andrewliu0220 (talk) 20:00, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can tell, the citation you added does not mention that song. I suggest you ask why Dhoffryn undid your edit at Talk:Nicki Minaj discography. They are an experienced editor and undoubtedly know more about this area of Wikipedia than I do.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:48, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
