[edit]@Akealvarez and Andrewjalcaraz: I've made a few changes to your draft for Latino theater in the United States. I don't know if that's your intended title, but it looks like what would best fit. A few things:
- I removed a lot of introductory material at the beginning (though did not remove it throughout). Remember that someone reading this article has made their way to it. They want to know about Latino theater. As they work through the text, if they want more information on a complex topic (say, the history of Hispanic and Latino Americans), the article can provide a contextually useful link. That way, a reader who already knows enough about a related topic can read on unimpeded.
- A shorter article may be a better article. Not just in terms of shortening via linking out to appropriate pages but in terms of prioritizing for readers and future editors/collaborators. Right now there is no overarching article on latino theater in the united states. The first attempt at one should set out to establish the topic, a bit of the history and set up ground for other editors to improve, rather than trying to cover everything at once.
- Is this an article about Latino theater as an artistic movement (akin to AfAm musical theater in NYC), the history of Latinos working in theater broadly, or both? One way to make the article a bit shorter and resolve this question a bit would be to remove the list of playwrights, which will probably be hard to maintain.
- On that note, you've got citations to wikipedia articles for each entrant on the list of playwrights. Lists like that should have the name wikilinked to the article and not referencing it.
- I've added a (very) brief and incomplete introduction section. Half a sentence really. You'll want to add a 3-5 sentence lede which establishes what the topic is and summarizes the content below.
