User talk:Andrew Trevor~enwiki
Andrew, I enjoy reading the articles that you contributed to greatly. I never knew you had such an intricate knowledge of linguistics. Can I ask what ethnicity your surname is? It's been making me rather curious for a while. Nicoulin doesn't sound Russian to me, but then again my Russian friend has "Skurnik" as a surname. Thanks!
I've latinified my surname many times (since January, I write my name like Andreo Nicúlino or even Andreo Niculem, in Portuguese), its official transliteration (its variety used e.g. in the embassies) is Nikulin. So my surname is Russian in deed. Andrew Trevor (talk) 16:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I saw your userpage, and you seem interesting. I'd like it if you add me (and help me with some Russian). Sposibo. Siúnrá (talk) 16:42, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
WikiProject Space Colonization
[edit]I saw on your userpage that you're into Isaac Asimov and outer space. I invite you to check out WikiProject Space Colonization. Although the group doesn't do much right now except maintain some core articles, it would be good to know if you're up for working on collaborative projects, translations, and/or peer reviews. Битцевский парк
[edit]Привет. Зачем ты переименовал Битцевский парк в Новоясеневскую сейчас, если оффициально она переименуется только с 1 июня 2009? http://www.prime-tass.ru/news/show.asp?id=790803&ct=news
Я не стал в этом разбираться, я только исправил орфографическую ошибку. Andrew Trevor (talk) 12:13, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
А ты можешь переименовать страницу обратно? Я пробовал но у меня не получается US - Jimmy Slade (talk) 16:34, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
По-твоему, как лучше: Bittsevsky, Bitzevsky или как? Я-то вообще за Bitza Park и последующую англификацию (типа Vernadsky Avenue). Как, вобщем, лучше?
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Andrew Trevor! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 97 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Andrew Trevor. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Andrew Trevor~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
