Fractional Reserve Banking
[edit]Hi Andrew,
I'm working on improving the fractional reserve banking article and would appreciate any assistance/review as I'm new to fixing up articles as bad as that one.

Hi Andrew
I am attempting to get some of your 2006 changes reinstated to the pages after they were removed in feb 2007 and 100 90 81 became the only presented reality.
If you are around still your assistance to get edits thru is going to be much appreciated Andrewedwardjudd (talk) 13:26, 11 April 2011 (UTC)andrewedwardjudd
- Canvassing is a Bad Thing. Can you explain why you want to invite people who might agree with you to "get edits thru", whilst those who disagree with you are tied up in your mediation cabal case? bobrayner (talk) 22:29, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Basel II
[edit]Hi Andrew,
I saw your note on Basel II. I have been meaning to do some work on it myself, and am glad to see you are interested! Wikipedia is always in need of better finace and economics contributions; you might be interested in looking at the Business and Economics WikiProject to see what other people are working on. One hint: type ~~~~ after writing on a talk page in order to "sign" your name. Thanks, looking forward to your contributions. --Afelton 03:22, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
Looking for articles to work on?
[edit]Hello, Andrew Reynolds. I'm SuggestBot, a Wikipedia bot that helps new members contribute to Wikipedia. Based on your previous edits, I have made a list of articles you might like to work on. I hope you find this useful. -- SuggestBot 01:07, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
As you are a member of the WikiProject Business and Economics, your help is kindly requested in the section of the AIDS article linked to above. Any help would be appreciated. --Bob 18:39, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Your article
[edit]It was deleted because another user believed it came off as an advertisement and I happened to agree. These things happen in new pages patrol. If it wasn't an ad, please accept my apologies. Next time, please don't come down so hard on my talk page. I don't do anything around here without good reason. Thanks. - Lucky 6.9 02:54, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Suggestion: You may wish to rewrite the article offline without the "adspeak." If i restore it in its present form, it'll only get deleted by another administrator. Also, please keep a civil tone on talk pages. Thanks again. - Lucky 6.9 02:59, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
No prob, Andrew.
Lucky 6.9 has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Smile to others by adding {{subst:smile}}, {{subst:smile2}} or {{subst:smile3}} to their talk page with a friendly message. Happy editing!
By "adspeak," I mean promotional language of the sort that you'd find in an advertisement. Basically, the language here should be neutral, non-technical and aimed more toward laymen rather than experts. Believe me, I've done the same thing. I did an article on the E-flite Blade CP radio controlled model helicopter which someone tagged as being too technical as opposed to the sorts of snappy, creative edits I made when I first got here. The template's still on the talk page of the Blade article as a reminder to myself. I'm thinking of taking a "wiki-break" for a few days, so please feel free to e-mail me with any questions. - Lucky 6.9 05:03, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks much. You made my night. :) - Lucky 6.9 05:27, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
OK, the article is good to go. I hung a template on it stating that it's under construction for a week. Followed up with a message on the talk page. You shouldn't have to worry about it being deleted at this point. Have fun and thanks again for your patience and understanding. - Lucky 6.9 15:27, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Accountancy
[edit]If you are interested in working in collaboration with Wikipedia members on improving the article Accountancy, you will be pleased to hear that the Accountancy task force has been set up and is seeking participants who can assist with the article's overhaul. Perhaps you would like to provide verifiable content on this subject matter, in which case your input could be invaluable. Alternatively we are aso seeking participants who can help with the systematic sorting of related accountancy articles into meaningful categories, an activity that does not require undertaking research but will nonetheless help improve the quality of the article's links. Either way, the task force would like to hear from you! --Gavin Collins 11:51, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Accountancy task force
[edit]Hello, this message is being sent to you since you are a member of the Accountancy task force. This is just a heads-up that the task force has been expanded with new features and its main page modified. Now that the task force has assessed over 800 articles in its scope, a breakdown can be seen of the quality of articles. A new userbox can be added to your page, and if you know of a editor contributing to accounting articles, a welcoming template can be used to invite the editor to join the task force. If you haven't already, consider watchlisting the main discussion page. There is currently a discussion about adding a template to some main accounting topics that would benefit from input by other editors. Feel free to leave feedback on the discussion page for further improving these new features. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 07:30, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
