Your recent edit to Alternative energy had a couple of problems. First I'm skeptical about Air hydro power as a common alternative energy form. Secondly, the "reference" you used was to a promotional website which fails Wikipedia's WP:reliable sources guidelines. Please don't use Wikipedia to promote new stuff. Vsmith (talk) 17:40, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Four years later, the above concerns are still valid. Please find a reliable source discussing this. Grayfell (talk) 08:20, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Andrew Kazantsev (talk) 08:55, 21 September 2017 (UTC) is Indiegogo link a reliable source like this?[1]
- No. Per WP:RS reliable sources have a "reputation for accuracy and fact checking". In practice this generally means academic or journalistic sources. Alternative energy is a broad topic also, so for something like this, substantial independent sources would be very useful for establishing significance and due weight. For these reasons, Wikipedia isn't usually on the bleeding edge of science. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and topics which propose radically new technologies are treated with extreme caution and skepticism until they receive mainstream coverage. Grayfell (talk) 21:32, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Andrew Kazantsev (talk) 05:18, 22 September 2017 (UTC) OK, thanks. But then, how can I message about this global solution for energy and water supply? Maybe my patent could be enough as reliable sources?[2]
- No, that isn't reliable either. Again, please read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Wikipedia isn't the right place for you to share your projects, and there are multiple problems with this:
- If your patent hasn't received coverage in reliable outlets, it almost surely doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Reliable sources are what we use to determine what belongs and what doesn't. Wikipedia is not a platform for advocacy.
- Nobody should be promoting anything on Wikipedia. When you add your own projects, you have a WP:COI: a conflict of interest. Please carefully review Wikipedia:Conflict of interest before going any further.
- You do not have to respond multiple places with the same message. I will see your comments here and respond to them if I have something to contribute. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 06:59, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
Andrew Kazantsev (talk) 07:45, 22 September 2017 (UTC) Thanks again...
Andrew Kazantsev (talk) 15:57, 25 September 2017 (UTC) last attempt - look at this article of my colleague, prof. PhD Alexander Baybikov about Cloud Power [3]

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Andrew Kazantsev. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Fog collection, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Widefox; talk 16:29, 29 October 2018 (UTC)

[edit]This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Fog collection, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have not disclosed your WP:COI and I see you only edit Wikipedia to promote your own interest and External link spam over several years. Please read and follow the policy and requirements above. You must WP:DISCLOSE and stop else you may be blocked without further warning. Widefox; talk 16:34, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
Andrew Kazantsev (talk) 06:45, 30 October 2018 (UTC) In spite of that the Cloud Power (AirHES) is my invention, I have totally refused from my patents and have no any material interest - therefore this message was given only for information for future developers of Fog collection - see, for example, my articles on my site about Optimization of mesh, etc.
