Abuse from a staff member
Greetings. I would like to report I have been having trouble with user Binksernet.
- I edited an article about the Wife acceptance factor in which he kept vandalising my edits. I discussed this and explained why it was called a wife acceptance factor.
- The user abused his privilages and incorrectly marked me for vandalism supposedly this was a mistake.
- violated a 3rr and engaged in MANY edit wars not just with me but other users
- I'm not familiar with wiki but enough is enough and I'm taking a stand against this thug. You can see he has a history of abuse and NEEDS to be stopped. Currently he is vandalising my edits on the wife acceptance factor page.
- has edited out criticisms so they have not been seen.

Any help you can give to solve this situation would be appreciated. Also note I have tried to make peace with the user and concede to his overly PC views but he has not even compromised NOR apologised. The person needs to be stopped. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.203.94 (talk) 10:20, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Following up on contact in ambassadors chat room 9/1
Chaim Kaufmann at Lehigh again. Reached you this time by choosing you as a mentor. The course has 17 students as of now although I expect some melt. Would you be willing to take on all of us or should we spread out the load? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ck07 (talk • contribs) 19:23, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'd be glad to help you out! Sorry for the late response! ANowlin talk 01:25, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
New active registered sock of Techwriter2B identified and blocked
On September 10, a new active registered sock (User:TardyHardy) of banned User:Techwriter2B was discovered and found to be engaging in ongoing disruptive behavior including Wikistalking and vandalism. The new sock account was blocked on September 11, 2010, and added to the "Long-term abuse/Techwriter2B" page about which you are currently conducting a pending "Abuse Response Investigation" which was opened on August 18, 2010. Misc
I'm struggling to finish my article on the footballer Tom Stokes, would you be able to help me out with it, or take a look? - Cheers, The Sun Paper —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheSunPaper (talk • contribs) 19:47, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
ANowlin,
I wrote you c. 10 days ago to follow up on your offer to help support my IR 393 students at Lehigh, and it particular whether 17 students would be too many.
I can no longer find that post on your talk page (maybe I am looking in the wrong place?) nor any reply there or on my page (I seem to have two now: a regular page and an 'outreach' page.
Thanks.

The article Short Course Immune Induction Therapy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This does not appear to be a verifiable medical concept. The first reference on examination does not define SCIIT.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:53, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Help requests
Hi! As a relatively new user, you may have misunderstood the purposes of the {{Help}} template. Help requests are not only used for asking questions; they can also be used for requesting like copy-pasting text at his/her own user talk page to another page, ask a user to notify another user about something, while blocked, etc. /HeyMid (contributions) 16:48, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Hello Heymid. You {{may not have noticed, but I was replacing {{tl}helpme}} with {{subst:helpme-nq}} because there was no question or request with the tag. The {{helpme}} tag should only be used with a question or request. ANowlin talk 19:39, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Disclaimer: It's very rare for me to send messages like this; it might seem frivolous or hypocritical, as I often complain about myspacing of the project. However, as a pastafarian, this is my equivalent of a Christmas greeting. I seriously believe we need to have fun sometimes. If you object, I apologize; let me know, and I won't bother you again. |
Abuse response
Hey, I noticed on the abuse response nomination page, there's no nominate button. I think that needs to be fixed. Thanks! Endofskull (talk) 02:30, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Comment Removed
- Jeremy: Please don't reply like that to conversations on my talk page. I have removed your comment. ANowlin talk 16:04, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Alright. Thank you for your help. Endofskull (talk) 02:52, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Endofskull: We are not accepting nominations at this time. ANowlin talk 16:04, 19 September 2010 (UTC)- Well, wait, apparently we are. Last I heard, we weren't. Anyway, the Nominate button is now "Join this Project" because nominate means for A to say B should join. I see you've already found it though. ANowlin talk 17:49, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

non-constructive edit that I know nothing about
Hi,
I received a message saying that my user talk: 78.144.134.33 about the footballer Andrew Halliday has been removed because it wasn't constructive. But I don't believe I ever made a contribution to this. I've no idea who Andrew Halliday is, (although I obviously now know that he is a footballer). Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.134.33 (talk) 08:18, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- Someone who previously used your IP (generally, service providers use dnyamic addresses, meaning they change every so often) made an edit considered to be vandalism. It was removed, and a warning was issued. If you didn't make that edit, then no worries. ANowlin talk 17:42, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
