While it may require some WP:C/E, I think that the draft is of rather good quality. However, this page actually already exists in mainspace. See the Altmark Incident. Your draft contains a large amount of information which could be used to expand the existing article. As a side note, I have broken the categories on the bottom of the page, since these categories automatically add your sandbox to the category pages. I know that the page exists, I want only to improve it. I have read it and got some information from it. I see that you are working with considerable speed on the text. Thank you. Some informations can be added from the site of HMS Cossack Association. It is already in English there, no problem, I will do it later. Have a good night! - Andreas (talk) 23:22, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Norwegian Campaign, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. SkyWarrior 19:42, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @SkyWarrior, I thought you have distorted a comment on the talk page of the Norwegian Campaign. There are some false statements in this article regarding the Altmark Incident, I wanted only to mend them. All the information you can find in the book of Geirr H. Haarr: The Gathering Storm.
Greetings--Andreas (talk) 19:54, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Die Gefechte in der Deutschen Bucht
@B-bot As I have written earlier in the ShipsProject talk-page, the publisher has no objection against uploading the images into Commons, but it is not certain, whether a third party has any claims. The maps in many of the Krieg zur See-series were drawn by a Carthograph named Herzog, who can't be identified and can't be known, whether he died before or after 1951. This statement of the publisher is strange to me, because below each of the drawings is to be read: "Verlag E. S. Mittler - Alle Rechte vorbehalten." It means that all rights do belong to the publisher. How a third party could be involved, I don't know. I do want to upload the four images separated, and under the same terms as this map attached here from the same book. --Andreas (talk) 23:09, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
