Your map of Indian administrative divisions in 1951...
[edit]...has a few errors when it comes to other countries' names at the time.

Bangladesh | East Pakistan |
Myanmar (Burma) | Burma |
Pakistan | West Pakistan |
Sri Lanka | Ceylon |
Please correct these as soon as possible.
Also, Sikkim was a separate country at the time - it did not become an Indian state until 1975.
