Čunovo Water Sports Centre

[edit]

I undid your editing on "Čunovo Water Sports Centre". I do not see any reason for your editing.

It's called "Čunovo Water Sports Centre" and not "Water Sports Centre Čunovo". Also don't just change part of the article. Greetings --And93hil (talk) 14:29, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your change. The change you made actually created the problem you cite. The change I made, before you reverted it, was merely to make the text match the title, so everything now says "Čunovo Water Sports Centre" and not "Water Sports Centre Čunovo," which is what you say you want. I see this is your first day of editing Wikipedia. You need to be more careful. HowardMorland (talk) 15:05, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I swapped them, thinking that "Your Text" is "Latest Revision". --And93hil (talk) 21:03, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, And93hil! We're glad to have you here, and I'm happy to see you jumped right in correcting things and improving wiki-linking. However, as HowardMorland says above, you need to look a bit more carefully at the diffs to see which way something got changed. Also I noticed that at OTT (band), you had simplified a link to avoid a redlink (link to a non-existent article); actually this meant the link went to an incorrect person, a professor rather than the band member. There is no problem with having redlinks to topics that are notable enough to have an article, although it has not yet been written. They serve as a pointer that an article could usefully be created, plus make it easier to do so by clicking the link. See the page about this. Both of these are mistakes we have all made; I hope you will not be discouraged from editing here, and I've put a template above with links to our policies as well as places to find lists of articles that need work and other ideas. Happy editing, and feel free to ask me or someone else any questions you may have. Yngvadottir (talk) 18:15, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Monin (company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 1292simon (talk) 09:41, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
