You appear to be the most knowledgeable editor about the subject of Royal Prerogative: William Stephenson's spy book A Man Called Intrepid informed me of the legal basis for the WWII espionage activities of the Canadian Broadcasting Company, as it is a Crown Corporation, and technically above the laws of Canada.
It is becoming clear to me that a constitutional crisis is forming in the US. I refer to the efforts against terrorism, which actually cannot be solved without an institution like the Crown, an extra-legal entity. Now in the US, this institution is The Nation (the people), analogous to the general editorial population of Wikipedia. Jimbo's position is analogous to The Crown.
In my opinion, Royal Prerogative cannot succeed without the personal commitment of the Monarch to the Realm. Just as Jimbo cares about Wikipedia. But in the US, there is no such commitment; there is only the urge for profit, which has caused the interests of the current President, whose political base is the moneyed class, to diverge from the interests of The Nation.

Banno (talk • contribs) – Banno's chief interest is Wikiproject Philosophy. He came to Wikipedia in September 2003 and has well over 3600 edits (see below). I first met Banno on Scientific method where he singlehandedly turned around the article, historically a contentious one, to achieve stability. Banno's approval on a subject constitutes a major endorsement on the articles which he chooses to scrutinize. Banno is a diplomatic, considerate exemplar for the encyclopedia. Please join me in supporting an expert contributor to Wikipedia for adminship. --Ancheta Wis 11:44, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
