I wanted to say, "thank you," for answering the question asked about inheriting Polish surnames. (What's more is that you gave a complete answer, which is not very common these days). I find it interesting how different cultures do this (it's surprising to me how widely the customs vary), which wasn't helped so much by the Wiki article in question, which is a bit of a mess, in my opinion. It's good to know there's at least one Wikipedian willing to answer questions. So again, thanks.
