Peer review by Sarah Benedict (Benedics14)

[edit]

Hi! I'm pretty sure you started a new article entirely, so good on you for that! Below, you will find my edits/suggestions in bullet form (it's just easier that way)

-First sentence needs either a comma or make it into two separate sentences (The end of Iconoclasm allowed for the creation and veneration of icons to start again without destruction but not many manuscripts survived.) The "without destruction but not many manuscripts survived" sounds a bit odd

-"first a rough sketch was done then paint was applied fill the sketch." also odd sounding

-Good examples in your second paragraph :)

-Do we know why they aren't dated?

-Your sources seem to be pretty credible, good job

-Are you planning on inserting any images onto this page? Being that it is about the imagery in manuscripts, that might be a big improvement and help in further emphasizing their importance and similarities.

Wikipedia article creating is new for me, as I think it is for many of us, so editing it can be a bit more challenging since the tone is much more distant and not exactly essay-like. However, I think you are off to a great start. Just watch for those grammatical errors. Try reading the sentences out loud to make sure that they are coherent and make sense :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benedics14 (talkcontribs) 20:57, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
