The article Viktor Belmont has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable male escort. There's (maybe) one good source, and it's a local alt-weekly.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. • Hi Amlusrodriguez, I'm your content expert for the course. I received a notice about the article's proposed deletion and wanted to give some feedback. I think that the best way to resolve the nominator's issues is to provide more coverage for Belmost in the article. I'm just concerned that most of his coverage comes from Rentboy.com and its closure, especially as all of the sourcing seems to come from 2015. I also noted that this source from HuffPo is from their blogger network, which makes it a non-reliable, self-published source on Wikipedia. Others, like the NYT article do not mention him. The problem with the NYT source is that Belmont doesn't inherit notability from being associated with Rentboy.com per se, nor does its closure, so that by itself doesn't really do much except back up the closure claims. As far as the Rentboy.com award goes, I'm not overly familiar with adult film awards but I'm not sure that this would be something that would give notability on Wikipedia so I wouldn't rely heavily on that to establish notability. Can you find more current sourcing for him that's posted in places like newspapers? Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 07:28, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
