User talk:Amjad z4
The article FiD Underground has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Orphaned non-free media (File:KFUPM Logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:KFUPM Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 15:43, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm John Cline. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Management information systems, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —John Cline (talk) 16:27, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
Management information system
[edit]Hi Amjad z4! Thanks for your help on Management information system. It looks like someone did a cut-and-paste move a couple of days ago, so I think it would be better to go with your original idea of reverting things back to how they were before. Thanks for spotting it! I completely missed the change. :) - Bilby (talk) 06:14, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- That depends a bit on if you are talking about the filed or the objects. The field, of course, is information systems, but a particular system would just be singular. Looking at the article, it is talking about the software, rather than the filed, so management information system seems correct. At any rate, if we are going to move it, we can't do it by copying the material - that causes issues with attribution. I'll start a discussion on the page, if you like, about a possible move, but you can't copy it across as you have been doing. - Bilby (talk) 06:21, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:25, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
