License tagging for Image:Vanessaannehudgens12.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Vanessaannehudgens12.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:10, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:Aly.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Aly.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 18:05, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Ashley emmy.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ashley emmy.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 22:06, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Ashleytisdale.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ashleytisdale.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Lisagleave.jpg)
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Lisagleave.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Yamla 17:03, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Jacob Hays
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jacob Hays, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Jacob Hays. Pinkadelica (talk) 06:39, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Into The Blue 2, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 19:19, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Movie Night
[edit]TLC/Discovery does *not* put the episodes on their website, in the order in which they aired, except for Season 5. I don't know why but they do. "Movie Night" was the third episode, I should know, I watched it and added to the list of episodes at the time. TH43 (talk) 20:50, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
You can't, because they don't put actually airdates beside their episodes. Only episode numbers, so your logic won't work. TH43 (talk) 21:16, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Just leave as is. TLC has it right for Season 5 and that's enough. I don't know why they listed them out of order from which they aired. TH43 (talk) 21:27, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Not necessary. Anyone wanting to look up the information can simply go to TLC's site. Besides, any website that has information on a TV show, always lists the episodes by the order in which they aired, no matter if it's not the same order on the show's official site or DVDs. TH43 (talk) 04:03, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Take a look at 18 Kids and Counting (with season on DVD) and Table for 12, they probably have their episodes listed differently on TLC. TH43 (talk) 20:11, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Some of the Duggars specials are on DVD, check out Amazon or TVShowsOnDVD for extras. TH43 (talk) 23:00, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi. Just so you know, new sections and messages go at the bottom, underneath the previous ones, not on top. Thanks, and Happy Holidays. :-) Nightscream (talk) 17:07, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Comics
[edit]Check out my user page and read the infor from user: --Schmeater. He's looking for help with a comic book, I think and I have no idea what to do. He's left information on, but it's a little beyond me.
If you're looking to do some editing, you could help, if you understand what to do. He mentions something about "B-class". TH43 (talk) 04:14, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Americanhero! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Lisa Gleave - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Brian McFayden - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 19:06, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Lisa Gleave has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced, partially negative biography of a living person. Please do not remove this prod tag without sourcing the article
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}

July 2011
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Randy Orton. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Cognate247 (talk) 05:10, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
