Assignment 3 - article choice
[edit]Hello, I am interested in expanding/editing the article on Criminal Psychology. I am confused about whether the topic I select has to be directly related to the chapter I am assigned for CCD (Chapter 12 - Psychology Gets "Personality": Allport, Maslow, and the Broadening Field). Thanks.Amberfuller (talk) 00:45, 20 February 2019 (UTC) I forgot to note a second option for an article to work on this semester. I noticed that the link under my name "Department of Psychology" does not transfer the user to a page about the NDSU department of psychology. I would be very interested in listing the history, studies, and other related information about our department! Thanks.Amberfuller (talk) 00:48, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Dr. Council's feedback on article choice: Criminal psychology already seems pretty well developed. How do you propose to develop it further? Something about the NDSU department of psychology seems promising. Are there other psych departments that have Wikipedia articles? J.R. Council (talk) 20:12, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
- BTW - you don't have to tie your article to your assigned chapter. That was just one possibility for finding a topic. J.R. Council (talk) 20:16, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Amber's Response: Princeton University Department of Psychology is an existing article that is thoroughly developed - I could research further into other universities for different style/page design/topic ideas.Amberfuller (talk) 20:18, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Princeton University Department of PsychologyAmberfuller (talk) 20:21, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
University of Bath Department of Psychology
North Dakota State University Our University has a broad overview of available departments of study, but nothing specifically focused on our department. Amberfuller (talk) 20:30, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
Good choice, Amber!
[edit]There has been some work done already on a department history. I can share this with you, but one problem is that there will be few or no published sources for this article. This could be a problem. I just realized this. Let's talk. J.R. Council (talk) 05:14, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
