Hi, this history thing on wikipedia is a bit confusing. but i am currently reading the article about tirupati, are you the one that's written about 'tamil being the only language that had an equivalent to shri' and 'no wonder its been declared a classical language', that might be true, but what has it got to do with tirupati? its correct place would be in the article 'tamil' would love to hear from you about this Sruthi Sruthi 02:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- hey shruthi dont waste your time talking to this guy or girl. he/she seems to be a tamil fanatic or extremist bent on giving a 'tamil' twist to all articles. the changes he had made to the kannada article prove this.
- Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Sarvagnya
Amarveda, what on Earth were you thinking with your edits to the article on Kannada language? Please do not add commentary and your personal analysis of an article into Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. -- Arvind 02:58, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
You are making a fool of yourself
[edit]Please keep your personal hatred for Kannada within closed doors. There is no place for it on wikipedia. Stop behaving like an uneducated fool. Stop this vandalism. You dont see any Kannadigas vandalising Tamil language pages. Please maintain the same manners and respect for others.

Hi Kannada fanatics:
Why do you call this personal hatred. It is not like you guys who dont unveil the Thiruvalluvar statue in Bangalore due to personal hatred of Tamils. You dont have counter arguments to the fact that there is no original word in Kannada even for language and classical.
As you are defeated you try to digress!
DIGRESSION IS THE WEAPON OF THE DEFEATED
- like dinesh says stop making a fool of yourself and all tamilians. as for mr. vallu's statue in bangalore, you seem to know only stories doled out by tamil terrorist propoganda websites. valluvar's statue if i am right, WAS actually unveiled in bengalooru. and then there were protests, so it was covered in gunny sack. later groups from both states mutually agreed that sarvagnya's statue would be installed in madras as a quid pro quo. but your fanatic government backed out giving a lame excuse that, the traffic in madras was too heavy(as if bangalore has less traffic) and they couldnt afford to find a place to install the statue. and ever since then your mr.vallu is sitting pretty wrapped in stinky gunny bags, with everyone including tamils peeing around it. the day may not be far when they decide to demolish it to widen the road or something. if that is mr.vallu's plight today, blame yourself and your fanatic governments. so, why are you venting your spleen on something totally unrelated??
- By those standards, there is no original word in English for language (from Norman French langage) or classical (from French classique). Which just underscores the point being made: you really don't seem to understand the way languages develop. Wikipedia is not a place for you to push whatever theories you personally may hold about the development of languages, or to vent whatever biases you may have. -- Arvind 12:03, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- not that i buy your argument that a language should have a native word for 'classical' to be classified as classical(to me that argument is as stupid as you are), but just curious, what is the word for 'classical' in tamil?? what do u say for 'classical language' in tamil? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarvagnya (talk • contribs)
Thiruvalluvar statue and Kannada?
[edit]Stop this nonsense about a statue. It has nothing to do with Kannada language. You are showing nothing but utter hatred and bigotry by vandalising the page. Please find something else to do to get over your prejudice.
