Sistine Chapel image
Hi Amandajm. Back in 2013 you uploaded a flattened photo of the Sistine Chapel -- https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CAPPELLA_SISTINA_Ceiling.jpg Do you know whether there is a high resolution version of that image?

- Amanda isn't around often these days, but I very much doubt she knows - she just rejigged the original upload by this guy. Johnbod (talk) 14:04, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. Matthew C. Clarke 20:31, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

- Hi Michael. Unfortunately I don't know if there ever was a higher resolution image.
- I am in semi-retirement from Wikipedia.
- The article on the Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel has had the initial section on the commission and progress of the work turned into a garbled mess by the addition of random facts from a number of sources. The narrative of the events is no longer either chronological or even logical. My attempts to fix this were over-ridden. And after various other rankles, I decided to abandon ship. I still occasionally tweak articles, mainly those in which I was significantly involved in a previous life.

- Thanks for coming out of retirement to respond to my question. Matthew C. Clarke — Preceding undated comment added 20:29, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
