Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Street King Immortal, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Dawn Bard (talk) 19:17, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

May 2013

[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to The One That Got Away (Katy Perry song) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 05:44, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Number formats

[edit]

Hello Amanda Bynes iconic, and again welcome to Wikipedia!
Wikipedia has a "style guide", which sets out how Wikipedia should be formatted. Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers is the part of the Manual of Style (often called the "MOS") which sets out how numbers should be set out. Have a look at the section about numbers. This explains that low numbers should generally be spelled out instead of written in figures (one, three, eight instead of 1, 3, 8 and so on.
If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Peter in Australia aka --Shirt58 (talk) 07:06, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Katyperrymissy.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Katyperrymissy.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 09:38, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
