Layton character article
[edit]Good job on writing the article. I'll try to help improve it in anyway possible. It's good that this game series is finally getting more recognition. I really enjoy the Layton series and I can't thank you enough for getting this article off the ground. : ) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.60.243.144 (talk) 01:02, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Sources will be helpful in making an article on the Layton character. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 22:58, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
You're doing a great job!
[edit]Just stopped by to thank you for your great job on the articles about the Professor Layton series. Keep up the good work! :) In Donaldismo Veritas (talk) 03:00, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
- I wanted to second this with my thanks for all your work on the Layton articles, especially for getting the Layton Brother: Mystery Room page started. Your GA nomination of Professor Layton and the Last Specter
[edit]The article Professor Layton and the Last Specter you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Professor Layton and the Last Specter for things which need to be addressed. ♫GoP♫TCN 20:19, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Your first GA - Congrats!
[edit]This user helped promote Professor Layton and the Last Specter to good article status. |
- I see it is your very first GA, is this correct ;)? If not correct the header :P--♫GoP♫TCN 18:43, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
- Indeed, it is. Thank you so very much for passing it! Emmy Altava 22:12, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
You did the first assessment...
[edit]So I'd be honoured if you'd do the second one! I lodged the request at WP:VG/A/R for Dr. Mario (video game) in case you weren't available. :) Salvidrim! 06:08, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
Oh, hey, I did some more work and put it up for a first GAN. It should be at WP:VG/AA tommorow with the bot's run if you don't have time to do it, or would rather have someone completely new to the article do it. :) Salvidrim! 04:06, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's probably best to have a third party do the GAN. I fear I might have become a bit too involved with the article to perform it.

Hi, I saw that you had originally assessed the article as C-Class, then changed your mind and made it a Start-Class, but said it was close. If you have time, what could make this article a C-Class? JDC808 (talk) 05:54, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- Hi again. I read over your "C-Class Assessment." post on the page, and I've done all that I think can be done to the Plot section. I've merged the "Setting" and "Characters" into one section, as for the setting, that one sentence is it because the game doesn't really say where you're at, you just know you're in Ancient Greece. Since it is a mobile game, it's story is very short, and what you see on the page for Story is the whole game without micro-detail. JDC808 (talk) 09:12, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Altava. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Altava~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
