Hello. I'm quite well, thank you. How about you? Thanks for the invitation. Would you mind telling me how I join Wikipedia:WikiProject Beauty Pageants? I have been writing some articles on Miss Universe Pageant in Spanish Wikipedia, as well, along with a Mexican mate. I have tried to complete the information here, that's all. Thanks for your message. Bye!--Alpinu (talk) 02:57, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, it's very easy: write some words about yourself [1]. That's all, I've added the icon to your page. Muchas gracias. See ya!

Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Blessing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Adiós (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Hola Alpinu,
por favor no agreges wikilinks al template {{coord}}
porque entonces aparecen en la columna "Coordinates" y desordenan la diagramacion. Gracias por tu trabajo para Wikipedia.--Best regards, KS (wat?) 15:05, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Withdrawing GA Nomination
[edit]I have withdrawn the GA nomination for bicycle kick. I did not agree with your review of the article, which in over seven days did not address the GA Criteria. Please make sure to read and apply the Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Instructions next time you wish to do a GA review. Thank you very much and have a good day.--MarshalN20 Talk 17:43, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

Hey there!
I just nominated the linked article for PROD, because it was listed at WP:PNT without any real translation taking place. Then I noticed that you had done some work on it, so I wanted to be sure to let you know. This wasn't to make you feel like your translation isn't wanted/needed, I just hadn't noticed (sorry). If you want to keep working on it, just remove the PROD and keep on going ahead! Thanks, menaechmi (talk) 17:18, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

Help request for mapping section titles
[edit]Hi. We (the Research Team at Wikimedia Foundation) are building an algorithm that will align Wikipedia article sections across languages. For improving this algorithm we need the help of multilingual Wikipedia editors to provide true statements to the algorithm. (Note: by clicking the links in the following paragraph, you will be taken to Google spreadsheet.) If you'd like to help us with translating a subset of the section titles on or before 2018-05-01, please read and follow the instructions. If you see instructions in another language, please scroll down to find your preferred language. If you have questions about this message, you can contact us via Diego. [edit]Strait of Magellan
[edit]Hi -- you should read the parameter descriptions for template:infobox body of water. The "basin_countries" parameter is not for describing where the item is ("location" does that), but rather which countries the item drains -- i.e., which countries have water bodies that flow into the item in question. Lago Fagnano in Argentina drains into the Strait, so Argentina must be included in the list of basin_countries. -- Elphion (talk) 13:50, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Sweden's medal count in the 1920 Olympics
[edit]Hi!
On Talk:Sweden at the Olympics you reported that Sweden's medal count at the 1920 Olympics (19-20-25) was not the same as reported on IOC's olympic.org site (19-18-24). I double checked this today, and it appears IOC has since edited their count to be in line with the 19-20-25 medal count already reported.
You reported this more than 13 years ago, so I figured it was about time someone responded :P -- Lejman (talk) 18:48, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
