- @Insertcleverphrasehere: Thank you, I already have an idea of what the Wikipedia rules are like. I'm an eliminator and rollback at pt.wiki. Allice Hunter (talk) 14:20, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
- Allice Hunter, Not sure what 'eliminator' is, it probably goes by a different name over here. In any case, thanks for the submission. Cheers, — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 14:23, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
- Insertcleverphrasehere. So what's the name of someone who deletes pages that don't follow the rules? Allice Hunter (talk) 14:30, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
- Allice Hunter, On en.wiki deletion is not unbundled from the administrator toolset, so only admins can delete pages. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 14:31, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
- Insertcleverphrasehere Oh, so it does not exist here. Allice Hunter (talk) 14:33, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
- Allice Hunter, New Page Reviewers tag new articles for deletion to bring them to the attention of admins though. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 14:41, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Australia does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! —DIYeditor (talk) 01:58, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
Hello, I'm DIYeditor. I noticed that you recently removed content from Australia without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —DIYeditor (talk) 01:59, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Map
[edit]Hi Allice, I'm so sorry I reposted that map without mentioning it was yours. I promise it was just a mistake that I did not mention you there. Please, accept my apologies. And let me know what I can do to make it better for you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davejcroyd (talk • contribs) 12:03, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Davejcroyd: Just check my map sources before reverting edits or replacing my maps. Some maps have more sources than what the wikipedia pages provide. It is not because a country is not on the Infobox list that it should not be on the map. − Allice Hunter (Inbox) 00:07, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Would you have a moment to comment at Talk:Victoria, British Columbia#Infobox montage? Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:53, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
Copyright problem on Most livable cities
[edit]Content you added to the above article back in March appears to have been copied from https://www.numbeo.com/quality-of-life/indices_explained.jsp, which is not released under a compatible license. Copying text directly from a source is a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. Content you add to Wikipedia should be written in your own words. Please let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa (talk) 13:30, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into Dutch people. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 23:56, 28 August 2021 (UTC)

[edit]CPI 2021 Map
[edit]Hi Allice,
I can understand why you chose a new color scale for your CPI 2021 map version, but cutting the upper and lower deciles from the legend box breaks the design language of the table below (you can still find all 10 tiers there). Instead, I would suggest trying to dim the unused colors, placing some kind of counter inside the squares, or any non-destructive technique in order to both preserve the coherence across the article and make the design future-proof.
Regarding the SVG choice, I agree with you. Even though the format is not yet fully universal (that is why I went with PNG), vector support is very mature nowadays.
Best,

File:Map of the Romanian Diaspora in the World.svg
[edit]Hello, can you please edit the Romanian Diaspora map with the proper numbers and color for Spain?
Spain has to be +1M (1.07 million) as well. Look at my recent edits and the reasons I gave based on the official Spanish Statistics Agency (INE) for 2021 including all Romanians, therefore meaning including also second and third generation Romanians, or Romanians born in Spain, or Romanians with Spanish citizenship and so on, the data takes into account all people that are related to Romania. Here I leave you the official source.
Romanians in Spain: 1,079,726 (2021) [1]
Thank you. --84.125.74.118 (talk) 05:30, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

Edit summaries
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to List of Argentine provinces by Human Development Index did not have an edit summary, and neither did 49 out of 50 of your most recent edits. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Mathglot (talk) 21:41, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you! Indeed I need to get rid of this habit of saving edits without providing an edit summary. It kind of became a culture to me. − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 04:17, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
Request to undo inaccurate info by OnManorama news in BRICS article
[edit]Hi, BRICS article admin,
Need your help to undo inaccurate info in BRICS article because the page is currently semi-protected.
Pakistan has not officially applied for BRICS membership, but only expressed interest. The report by OnManorama news saying that Pakistan is being blocked from joining BRICS is inaccurate.
Please help to undo the following edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=BRICS&diff=next&oldid=1172053130
The accurate info is listed under "Countries that have applied for membership" section. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thesidewalker11 (talk • contribs) 08:33, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
