All Other Names Taken, your tyranny of WikiAwesomeness comes to an end now! AllOtherNamesTaken 06:13, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Hella lame, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. adavidw 07:20, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- While I appreciate your copy-paste concern for the sanctity of Wikipedia, I feel that hella lame is a phrase of great importance and I am more than willing to fight and die for it.AllOtherNamesTaken 07:30, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Re: how long did this vandalism stay in the article?
[edit]Re: this edit summary, as can be seen from the page history and the edit I linked, the vandalism lasted for just over two hours. This isn't too bad for a lightly watched article like the one on elephantiasis, but there are computer programs that are supposed to catch and fix very obvious vandalism like that in seconds. The vandalism should have been corrected sooner. Also see Wikipedia:Cleaning up vandalism for information about fixing vandalism on Wikipedia. Graham87 10:52, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
You might have missed it, but did you see the note ISD left at Talk:And Another Thing... (novel)#Reception? It's about the disagreement the two of you have over whether to include that content. I noticed you undid his reversion of your edit, maybe you can talk it over with him on the talk page - that would be ideal. You also might want to read Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle as it's relevant. In the future could you also please refrain from rude or sarcastic edit summaries. They can cause raised tensions. Vandalism
[edit]Wow, I had no idea reasonably well-established Wikipedians engaged in it. --Tigerthink (talk) 03:20, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
I noticed you vandalizing something. --Tigerthink (talk) 09:14, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Epic Gilgamech
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Epic Gilgamech, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 06:30, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
