To answer your question in the Talk page for the Dr Manhattan (band) article ("how do I add a picture to the Infobox?"):
Put these in the infobox (of course, replace the Maria Carey image name and caption with your own):
Img = Mariah Carey13 Edwards Dec 1998.jpg Img_capt = Mariah Carey performing in 1998
That's assuming you've already uploaded the image. For more info read this. -Eisnel 22:29, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Thank you. I have a couple more questions though. How do I get rid of the text before and after the picture? And why is there two captions?
License tagging for Image:D man!3.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:D man!3.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Notability of Flowers for Dorian
[edit]A tag has been placed on Flowers for Dorian, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Image copyright problem with Image:FFD..jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:FFD..jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 01:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but, I'm going to have to ask what I'm missing, because I'm sure I can provide it, but it would be a great help if you could explain it to a further extent. Like, what did I forget to put in? Thank you.Alkalinetrio78 01:56, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Drmanhattan!!!!.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Drmanhattan!!!!.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:38, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit]An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:For Lonely Lest The Wiser Album Cover.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Corvus cornixtalk 23:25, 2 December 2007 (UTC).
Please read WP:CP#Copyright_owners_who_submitted_their_own_work_to_Wikipedia. Corvus cornixtalk 23:31, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia can't host copyrighted material without evidence that the copyright owner hs approved itse release. You uploaded it with a pd-self tag which indicates that you are the copyright holder of the image, which you've admitted isn't true. There is a tag for album covers which works under Fair use rules, so you could change the tag, but I don't remember what the tag is. As for the band, see WP:BAND. In order to meet Wikipedia's notability requirements, a band has to have two albums on a notable label, have had a major national tour, or be a notable representative of their genre. Does this band meet those requirements? Corvus cornixtalk 23:38, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Has their single charted on a major chart? If so, that would make them qualify. Otherwise, they don't qualify until their album actually comes out. Corvus cornixtalk 23:43, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
You can replace the pd-album tag with {{Non-free album cover}}, but then you need a rationale as well, specifically indicating the name of the article that the image would go in, and why you think the album cover is needed to illustrate the image. See other album image pages for examples of a rationale. Corvus cornixtalk 23:45, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Will you explain to me why that is? - That's the rules for Wikipedia band notability. We get garage bands all the time that people insist are the next great thing, so we need specific rules to point to -- "they meet this rule", for example. If they meet any of the rules at WP:BAND, then they would qualify. Corvus cornixtalk 23:47, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
No, I agree, they don't look like they're a garage band, I'm just pointing out why the WP:BAND notability rules apply. Standards for notability have to be objective. Corvus cornixtalk 23:52, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
I don't see how, unless their single has charted. Has it? But then, I'm not an admin, so some admin may come along and see the speedy deletion tag I put on the article, and decide that they disagree with me. Corvus cornixtalk 23:55, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
No, I haven't checked them out yet. I will later. I think we're going to have to wait till their album comes out, then the article can be recreated. Unless, like I said, an admin disagrees with me. Corvus cornixtalk 23:57, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
No, sorry, I can't do that without proof of notability. :) Nice try. :) Corvus cornixtalk 00:03, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:For Lonely Lest The Wiser Album Cover.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:For Lonely Lest The Wiser Album Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Fair use rationale for Image:Dr manhattan dr manhattan album artwork.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Dr manhattan dr manhattan album artwork.jpg. Dr manhattan (album)
[edit]Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Dr manhattan (album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 01:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
