Damerau–Levenshtein distance

[edit]

Hello there! I've recently reverted your edit on the Damerau–Levenshtein distance article, so please allow me to explain. Please, have a look at this discussion, for an already existing explanation why is it actually better to stick with pseudo code examples only.

Hope you agree. Of course, I'm more than happy to discuss it further. — Dsimic (talk) 19:06, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, did you ever upload the code you mentioned?
Perhaps in Wikibooks: Advanced Data Structures and Algorithms or on Github or some other source code repository?
If so, please give me the link?
No rush. The other implementations I've found seem adequate for now: Wikibooks: Algorithm Implementation/Strings/Levenshtein distance, JavaScript, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
Thank you. --DavidCary (talk) 05:41, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello there! Actually, I'm waiting for you to do the heavy lifting, in form of uploading and adding to the external links section. :) It's your code, and there's no point in me uploading it somewhere, thus taking credits for something I've contributed nothing to. Hope you agree. — Dsimic (talk) 17:58, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just checking, are we getting a new external link soon? :) — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 20:38, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
