Hi! I'm really disappointed, as I worked hard on this translation and on maintaining its objectivity. The source I provided contains comprehensive biographical details about him, even though it also covers two other scholars. I don't think this is grounds for disqualifying it as a "published, reliable, secondary source that is independent of the subject" - if the issue is that the source isn't available online, that's unfortunate but I can't ensure that the magazine digitizes all its print editions for their website. -- Ali Hassan Salameh IV (talk) 16:16, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ali Hassan Salameh IV. I don't have an issue with the tone of the draft. It simply doesn't yet show notability under NAUTHOR or NACADEMIC, linked above.
The English Wikipedia requires significant coverage in independent sources to show notability. We usually look for at least three sources.
So, find some more sources that provide significant coverage of Israel: reviews of his books, articles about his life. That sort of thing.
Then feel free to re-submit for review. qcne (talk) 16:32, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
