Salam Brother,
Hi i'm Hooperag, a fellow Wikipedia of yours and a Shia Muslim. Recently I have been working on articles about religious figures of Islam like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Hussain (a.s.). I have added appropriate terms for their respect like changing "Muhammad" to "Prophet Muhammad" and such... however some editors are undoing all these edits claiming it violated Wikipedia's NPOV. Anyways there are over a billion Muslims on this planet and thousands of Muslim Wikipedia editors and readers, we should not let disrespect be done to our Prophet. If you let them they will soon bring negative statements about our honorable prophet with the excuse of free speech and anti censorship. If we Muslims don't make a move now things will only get worse!
I request you to help me in this issue so that the worlds largest Encyclopedia does not become a mouth piece for anti Muslim sentiments.
Please take a stance and visit the following URL and go to the section called "Request for Respect of our Religion and our Prophet" and voice your support there.
Please pass on this message to as many Wikipedia's as you know!
May Allah's blessings be on you! Hooperag (talk) 00:39, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
