[edit]Hello, Alexsershu. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Antigonish (poem), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 81.2.123.64 (talk) 12:11, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. JBW (talk) 12:44, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
A reminder of Wikipedia's guideline on conflict of interest
[edit]- You have already been informed of Wikipedia's guideline on conflict of interest, above, but you seem to have either forgotten or not understood what you were told, as you have continued to edit without complying with that guideline, using another account. Please read that guideline, if you haven't already done so, and make sure that yur future editing does comply with it. Here is a link to the guideline: Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. JBW (talk) 13:07, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
Use of multiple accounts
[edit]- Use of more than one account can mislead other editors, so it is better to stick to one. It is clear from your edit summaries that you are not trying to hide the fact that you have made edits from more than one account (thank you for making that clear) but it is still possible for editors not to realise that the accounts are the same person, as they are likely not to have studied the full history of all recent edits. It is therefore not just better, but required that you don't use more than one account on the same article. The same applies to editing from an account and then without logging into the account, which has a similar effect. Also, to minimise risk of confusion, please list on the talk page and/or user page of each account you have all the other accounts you have used. JBW (talk) 13:07, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
