[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page We Are Done has been reverted.
Your edit here to We Are Done was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PLWoNU5mwg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:58, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I wanted to let you know that some of your recent contributions to Total Eclipse of the Heart have been reverted or removed because they seem to be defamatory or libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 15:42, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to I'm Still Standing. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Doctorhawkes (talk) 06:41, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
Very fine line here, Doctorhawkes. I didn't make the Outtakes clip, the Music Video director did in 1983 and it add the understandohg of this article. Can we get another volunteer to arbitrate? Alexportnoy (talk) 06:50, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
For example, the full Music Video is promotional material so why is that allowed? Alexportnoy (talk) 06:51, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- The promotion I refer to is including a PO box in the comments. Surely you know that's inappropriate? As for the source, the uploader is not the copyright holder, so can not be used. There's probably a book out there that discusses Mulcahy's cameo if you want to look. Doctorhawkes (talk) 07:01, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising. After being warned last month, you have again added promotional links - namely your own name and address - to the edit summary at at least three articles in recent days. If you do that again you are likely to be blocked from editing. MelanieN (talk) 00:26, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

. MelanieN (talk) 15:23, 7 September 2020 (UTC)- Comment I warned you, back in June, not to promote yourself by adding your name and address to edit summaries. You did it again, twice, at the article Pindar Cave, to give yourself public credit for a photo you took. This is a brief, 3-day block to make it clear that self-promotion like this is not allowed at Wikipedia. -- MelanieN (talk) 15:29, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user subpage at User:Alexportnoy may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively, you may add {{Db-u1}}
