Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tbilisi State Academy Of Arts, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.art.edu.ge/Home_En/Greeting.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. License tagging for File:Logo Academy.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Logo Academy.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Gia Bugadze books.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Gia Bugadze books.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:17, 26 December 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wexcan  Talk  17:17, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Tbilisi academy of arts.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 02:33, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is still no image copyright tag. Please update the image page with the licensing of the image, as well as an explicit source so that the licensing can be verified. If you need help with this, please contact me on my talk page. J Milburn (talk) 11:46, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is still no copyright tag. I implore you to read my previous messages, and contact me if you need any help. Please stop removing the deletion notice, it is in violation of the three revert rule. If you continue, you could face blocks from editing. Neither of us want that; please either fix the problem, or explain the misunderstanding. J Milburn (talk) 22:00, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I see you have added a tag saying that you release the image under a free license. Could you explain why the copyright belongs to you? I'm not trying to be a pain, but Wikipedia does have very strict rules on copyright. J Milburn (talk) 12:17, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Tbilisi Academy building.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Tbilisi Academy building.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 14:46, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Gia Bugadze suffers from severe overlinking. I started resolving it, but as you seem to be the one who wrote it, I ask that you resolve this issue. Best regards. --Muhandes (talk) 08:21, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that you introduced these links all in one edit. May I suggest that instead of 20 other editors working hours to solve this problem, we revert to this version? Best regards. --Muhandes (talk) 08:31, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You have no answered this for three days, yet for sure you are active. I take this as acquiescence, and I am reverting to that version. --Muhandes (talk) 18:57, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Again, you introduced the same severe overlinking. If you continue to do this, it could be considered visualization, and you account could be blocked. Please cease. --Muhandes (talk) 00:40, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:David Longo.JPG

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:David Longo.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Gia Bugadze. File permission problem with File:Tbilisi_academy_of_arts.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Tbilisi_academy_of_arts.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:01, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Academy painting.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Academy painting.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 11:55, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:16, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Museum" section

[edit]

Please stop adding this section. The images you are adding are under copyright, and are only used under fair use. As such they can only be used when accompanying critical commentary, not as a "Museum" section. --Muhandes (talk) 11:08, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I'm not meaning to spam you with message after message about this picture, but you're going to need to talk to us about it. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Who took the actual picture? Who pointed a camera at the building and pressed the button? J Milburn (talk) 22:10, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. I'm sorry, I tried to discuss this with you multiple times, but you keep ignoring me and all other editors. Stop removing maintenance tags. Stop adding fair use images to articles which do not include a critical discussion. Stop adding external links to articles which do not conform with the policy. And please stop ignoring us. Muhandes (talk) 23:03, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Gia Bugadze.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is your last warning; the next time you remove a file deletion tag from the file description page of a Wikipedia file without resolving the problem that the tag refers to, as you did at File:Books city by gia bugadze.jpg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Muhandes (talk) 18:31, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And again

[edit]

Again, you added a fair use to the "Museum" section. Again, you ignore all editors' notes. --Muhandes (talk) 22:54, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And again and again.

[edit]

You uploaded File:From the archive of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.jpg with wrong license, since it is not before 1923 and not public domain in the US. Please correct it, or it will be removed, like all other images you uploaded. Since you tend to ignore messages left for you, I simply removed the license and tagged for a new one, see warning below. --Muhandes (talk) 14:38, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:From the archive of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.jpg.

Muhandes (talk) 14:43, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Gia Bugadze, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. A second final warning. Stop removing tags without handling the problem. Muhandes (talk) 17:03, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:From the archive of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.jpg

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:From the archive of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Muhandes (talk) 20:28, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please make up your mind about the date of this image? On the image upload you said it was from 1902, and on this edit you say "1884-1886". --Muhandes (talk) 20:52, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

more spam, more tag removal

[edit]

Let this be your tenth warning. Stop removing tags without handling the problem. Stop adding links which don't comply with WP:EL. If you don't agree discuss it. --Muhandes (talk) 00:15, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Silovan Kakabadze, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Muhandes (talk) 00:17, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same for Gia Bugadze, where another editor was faster than me in restoring the tags. --Muhandes (talk) 00:21, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. You may also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list instead, or mail unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org. Daniel Case (talk) 00:28, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistent disruptive editing of the same kind as led to your earlier block. When your block expires please do not return to the same kind of editing, because doing so may lead to a longer, or even indefinite, block. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
