- Thank you for your review and the constructive notes. I’m not sure but perhaps he isn’t worthy of an article. He’s been in so many shows and movies recently and he has so many followers on his verified Instagram I just thought he deserved one. Privately, I know that he lost a child a while ago and is pretty low key about interviews and things of that nature because he doesn’t talk about why he left the public eye for so long. The deadline article mentioning him in the cast of The Locksmith and some of the others, those don’t qualify? I guess I figured him being in the public-eye would do it.
- thank you again and any further direction would be very much appreciated. AlexandraWade (talk) 22:17, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, AlexandraWade. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 22:27, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for sending this. I answered in the treehouse post as well. I don’t know Bourke Floyd, I have met him at events and was in attendance as a fan at the event in which I took those photos but I’ve never communicated with him outside of that time and a fan convention I attended. I like his work and what he seems to stand for but I understand that being a fan doesn’t make him notable by Wikipedia standards. Having said that, I did attempt to write the article in a completely neutral base stating only the work for which he is credited and with no tilt towards how I feel about that work. I would hope that the article was declined on the basis of the subject not qualifying as notable and not on the basis of a conflict of interest since I do not know him personally.
