Welcome to Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia & to Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs! I hope you have an excellent time on the project. If you need help with anything, don't hesitate to ask me at all. Right now, the project is trying to create an article for every single dinosaur on the List of dinosaurs list. Have a good day, Spawn Man 23:09, 9 March 2006 (UTC).
New Task bar
[edit]I've successfully created an open list of tasks on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs main page for those who would actually like to know what to do with their time on the project. Add tasks as you wish, no too long though! Add your name to tasks you wish to be part of & that's as complicated as it gets... Thanks, Spawn Man 23:37, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Hello ...
[edit]Out of curiosity, are you, in fact, Alexander Payne? Regards — Dan | talk 00:50, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
WikiProject Dinosaurs
[edit]Hi Alexander!
There's currently less than 100 dinosaurs left on the Missing dinosaur page. We've come a long way! I was thinking that since there's just under 100 dinosaurs left, and since there are 25 of us signed on for the project, if we each wrote about four articles, we'd be done! Well, not "done", obviously, as many of the articles are in need of expansion. But then we could focus on expansion and other things.
You could take, say, Laornis, Lewisuchus, Libycosaurus, and Lirainosaurus.
It's just an idea, of course, and you're of course not obligated and can do whatever you like; I just figured I'd mention the idea, and see if you were interested. No harm, right?
Take care, --Firsfron 06:14, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Great dinosaur articles
[edit]Just want to congratulate you rptoject for some consistently great articles!!!! Unlike many projects where most articles are stubs it seems nearly every dinosaur article I come across it at least a B-class article!!!! you must hold the record for GAs and FAs i'd imagine. Keep up the great work, it makes the encyclopedia looks so much more professional. THis is how articles should be!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "I've been expecting you" 21:24, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Christianity7vk.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Christianity7vk.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 01:53, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
