Yo

[edit]

Hey, I was wondering about my user page. If anyone knows of anything I can do to spice it up, let me know --AlexanderTG 23:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your question

[edit]

Writing about people or things you know personally isn't usually a good idea. See WP:AUTO for information on autobiographies- not exactly what you asked about, but similar. In general, if you're making an article, make sure you use good sources, not just your own personal knowledge or opinions. Friday (talk) 21:28, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the eighth generation

[edit]

on the talk page for the eighth gen. of vi. games you said it should be kept, "This page would be useful to keep until the systems actually come out. I think that Apple should definetly and probably will join the console biz" you should go to that articles page and vote for keep. just click here, hit edit and then vote for keep and give why you think it should be kept. thanks. J.L.Main 09:21, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thanks

[edit]

thanks for voting for keep. in a few month or years when i re-create the article and nominate it for deletion you'll be the first person i tell. anyway, a copy can be found on my user page. since my user page doesn't have to meet any wiki criteria that copy has extra speculation and possibilities that weren't on the copy that was just deleted. if you would care to help me expand it i would be greatly appreciative. just click here. grammer

[edit]
I almost always use proper English when i write articles. For messages like this one and on my user page i don't always capitalize

the beginning of sentences because i simply don't care enough. When i use Microsoft word i have it set up to do almost all my capitalizing for me. I only capitalize 'i' when it comes at the beginning of the sentence.

I copy my user boxes from other people's pages so i don't know how to edit them. If i'm on someone's user page and they have a user

box i think should also be on my page i go to 'edit this page' than i copy the one i like and past it on my own user page.

Most of the contradictions in Star Trek Enterprise can be explained. I think the producers simply made too many mistakes early on.

Like not using "Star Trek" in the title for the first two seasons. My two big complaints would be that they had an emotional Vulcan on board and that they tried to use sex to grab ratings. Other than that i enjoyed the show. But it is my least favorite. J.L.Main 18:48, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on AlexanderTG/History of video game consoles (nineth generation), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hello, AlexanderTG. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Atari corporate logo.png) was found at the following location: User:AlexanderTG. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 04:42, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial use of Image:Randall-1-.JPG

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Randall-1-.JPG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Randall-1-.JPG is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Randall-1-.JPG itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:43, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Godzilla Generations

[edit]

I have nominated Godzilla Generations, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Godzilla Generations. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 20:34, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please update your status with WP:VG

[edit]

Dear WikiProject Video games member,

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in the recent months.

The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:

Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Request for opinion

[edit]

Hi AlexanderTG: Sorry to trouble you, but I could not help but notice your expression of affection for TOS on the Wikipedians who like Star Trek: The Original Series page, and so I would be curious of your thoughts on the notability of a Star Trek author for whom I just created a Wikipedia article -- which may be promptly destined for the trash pile. As a newcomer here at Wikipedia, my first article attempt was indeed recommended for deletion within hours of its creation by a senior user named JzG who seems to me to be overly hostile and dismissive of Star Trek, calling it fancruft (= trivial, obscure, of importance to just a tiny group of fanatics) . Since you are a Trek fan, if it is also your good faith opinion that my subject is in no way deserving of an article on this site; and you could let me know, I would feel much more comfortable with the justice of the pending deletion action. My proposed article may be seen here, assuming you visit the page soon enough ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Gurian Kind Regards. Tosresearcher (talk) 05:05, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
